Finding local gems was a delight! I hit up some awesome spots for authentic Cuban sandwiches and fresh seafood. Can’t forget the views while munching on some ceviche—total Miami vibe! Plus, the room had a comfy vibe with a cozy bed, making it easy to relax after a day of culinary exploration.

Honestly, the hotel felt rough around the edges. There was a funky smell when we walked in, and the pool? Man, it looked like the swamp—definitely not for a dip! Cleaning seemed like an afterthought, with dirty drawers and a broken drain in our bathroom.

We had a nice surprise when Ryan, the staff member, rushed to help us when the Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect! He was cheerful and attentive, no matter how busy it was, kind of how I’d like my chem lab assistants to be.

It certainly wasn’t cheap, but it felt okay, considering the hassle.
